IFLAC PEACE ANTHOLOGY BRINGS TOGETHER KENYAN AUTHORS

Nine Kenyan writers are included in an international e-book anthology entitled ‘Anti -Terror and Peace: IFLAC Anthology’ (2016). The anthology consists of articles, short stories, poems and haikus from 93 contributors in 23 different countries around the world. The Kenyan contributors are: Muthoni Likimani, Henry Ole Kulet, Alexander Nderitu, Moraa Gitaa, Njeru Kathangu Mtumishi, Gilbert Muyumbu, Grace Ebby, Francline Allan and Jacob Oketch.
Since its creation in 1999, IFLAC (The International Forum for the Literature and Culture of Peace), has issued more than 4000 IFLAC Digests on the Internet, organized many projects and International Congresses for Peace, and published several anthologies and books for the promotion of local and world Peace. Veteran Kenyan author, Muthoni Likimani, whose own titles include 'Fighting Without Ceasing' and 'They Shall Be Chastised', Muthoni Likimani is an IFLAC Peace Ambassador. She contributed both a poem and an article to the 2016 Anthology. In the introduction to the book, Professor Ada Aharoni, IFLAC’s Founding President and the Chief Editor of this Anthology, commends Ms. Likimani for her role in the project: ‘I greatly thank Muthoni Likimani, IFLAC Peace Ambassador in Africa, who has so efficiently helped to spread the word about our historic Anthology.'
The e-book was published on Amazon.com on June 2, 2016 and according to Professor Ada, it is already 'getting high praise from all over the world.'
